We survived...

From Thursday evening through Saturday, Donovan had the flu, then from Saturday night through Sunday night I had it. It was a nasty beast and I am hoping Caleb stays well. I changed sheets, washed everything imaginable and lysoled what seemed like the whole house. Hopefully that will help. I am still quite weak today. I couldn't eat or drink all day yesterday, so I am recovering today. Donovan seems to be doing really great though. He doesn't have his full appetite back yet and he is still sleeping more than usual, but its to be expected with that powerful little bug we had.

Other than all that, we haven't had much going on. This week is going to be mostly busy, so I am hoping to have all my strength back by tomorrow. So, in light of that, I am off to take a nap while Donovan is sleeping!

We had a lovely week last week and now they are saying a snow storm tomorrow. I want spring to come and stay! Today is dreary and cold and windy and a good day to sit by the fire while Donovan is napping and enjoy some rest time! I cleaned house this morning and then mom came up for a brief visit and lunch. Tomorrow we are tentatively planning to go to Illinois. I am pretty excited to see Caleb's Aunt Bev and Uncle Wayne. We will stay with them tomorrow night and then Saturday go over to see his Aunt Donna and Bill and their kids. Should be a full weekend, I am sure Sunday afternoon I will be ready for a nap!

Donovan is finally walking more! He isn't all the time yet, but it shouldn't be long. He walks all over the front room and occasionally all over the house on his own. If he is holding your finger he will walk wherever you want him to! It is so fun to see him walking, but it is a reminder of how he is growing up! I can't believe he is almost 20 months old! Wow, time flies!

Nothing new is going on with Caleb or I. This pregnancy is going well. We go in a few weeks for an ultrasound. I am still up in the air as to whether we want to find out what we are having or not. I don't think I will be able to make it til June, especially going to that ultrasound in a couple weeks! It will make picking a name much easier too. I am just up in the air for a name. I just can't decide on anything concretely. Any ideas?

I hear a little man who is calling for me, so I will have to go for now....
