It's finally Friday!!! This week has been absolutely CRAZY, but it has been a good week too. It seems like something has gone on every night this week, except for tonight, which I have reserved for Caleb and I time to sit and watch TV. We like to watch Ghost Whisperer, except I think it is going to be a bit more creepy than usual since it is halloween night tonight. While you won't find me verbally supporting halloween, I do think it is really cute to see the kids in their costumes. I doubt we will get any trick or treaters tonight because our porch light is broken, but I have candy just in case. I think my neices and nephew might come and I also think Caleb's neices might stop by.
Today I absolutely had to clean the house...it was a mess after being gone most of the week. You know a clean house makes me very thankful for my mom. She always keeps her house spotless and I try to do the same, it just makes me so much more relaxed knowing that my house is clean and picked up in. I also just made a meatloaf. This is only my third time making meatloaf, and somewhere along the way I had lost my recipe for it, so I pretty much did it from memory today. Hopefully it will taste good!
At Bible study last night, we continued our study of Hebrews. That book is quite interesting if you learn some of the back traditions of like the old covenant and stuff. It is just so incredible to think that Christ Himself was the perfect, ,ultimate sacrifice for our sins and that we can go directly to Him in prayer and not have to make sacrifices to a priest or anything like that. Anyway, we were on chapter 7 and 8 of Hebrews and one of the main things I got out of it is that prayer is so important. But we are not to take prayer lightly. Sure we can go to God boldly, but we also need to have a sincere reverance. I mean we are talking to the God of the Universe. Wow. It is just a thought about how important, but also how powerful prayer is.
This weekend will be busy so hopefully I will get back to you early next week!
