In an effort to get on a schedule, I am seeking advice. Caleb's new job is officially consistent in hours, he leaves home at 7:25 and gets home at 4:15. I would like to be up and showered before 7 am because Donovan wakes up for his morning bottle at 7. I would like to have my morning devo's during Donovan's 1st morning nap which is around 8:30-9:45. I would like to also be cleaned up for the day by 9. By noon I want to have the house picked up in and the sweeper ran. Does this sound impossible yet? That way in the afternoon I will be able to do various things. I am thinking about designating a certain day of the week as "cleaning day" where I deep clean the house. Then the rest of the week can be whatever. Wednesdays are already booked. Tuesday evenings are full but the rest of the week is flexible (Except for Sundays).
Currently it is 2:58, Donovan is down for a nap and I just got out of the shower. I haven't read my Bible yet today, but the house is cleaned up and I have a meal plan for the week, and a grocery list for this afternoon when I go to the store. My last load of laundry is in the washing machine and the 3 other loads are folded but not yet put away. I really just want to get life organized so it is not so chaotic. I want to be able to be stress free and not worry about housework. I want to be confident that of an evening if someone comes over, there will be places to sit and through all of this I want to spend quality time with Donovan and Caleb. Can it be done? Does anyone have any tips?
