Hooray for fall, cooler weather, changing colors, and coffee. It is a lovely Sunday afternoon in October, it is cooler outside and I am sitting, listening to my little man jabber instead of napping and drinking a lovely cup of coffee. Hunting season began Friday and my husband spent yesterday between the woods, work and the woods again. He knows once gun season starts he will be working a lot more, so he is doing all he can to spend time in the woods now! I am ok with that, maybe he will bring home some meat!
Donovan is growing up before my eyes. He only has his top 2 teeth, he does the army crawl and refuses to walk unless he is holding both of your hands and even then he will not let go! He has a death grip on my fingers and if I pull one out, he immediately stops walking and usually sits down. He is so precious though. He is beginning to get into testing authority. He is doing all he can to get his own way. He is really getting into these high pitched screams and seeing how long it will take before I take action, which is usually just about half a second after he starts screaming!
Caleb and I are doing well. We are ready for the cooler weather and sitting outside and drinking coffee on the porch. The next couple weeks are going to be spent fall cleaning, and trying to organize the basement and make it as warm as possible for winter. Since our washer and dryer is down there it is much better motivation to do laundry when I don't have to put on my winter coat and shoes to do it!
Well, my mind is running in 3 different directions now of things I want to get done, so I will leave you with the picture of Donovan from the wedding we went to on Friday. Isn't he handsome?!
